Access to the flags in the header

I would like to have access to the header of the native-dns-packet object so that I could disable the RD bit or recursion desired bit. Is there a way to do this? Additionally, has anyone requested the ability to set the AD bit and adding all the necessary DNSSEC bits into this module? Sorry if this is not the right protocol for asking for a feature or support.
