Is it possible to change the text and background color and add some extra text to day cell?

I need to show the attendance of users in the calendar view. So need extra text ('Yes' & 'No') with the day in each cell to mark. Is it possible that after selecting the date, the color and text can change?

Yes, but you have to code this yourself. Easy to do.
