Unable to add icon to the taskbar in Windows 11
I am using Windows 11 on my Acer Aspire Lite AL15-52 laptop.
I have created the groups, as shown in the screenshot below.
But when I click on the first group in the blank area (shown with red rectangle), it opens my onedrive folder rather than the shortcuts list.
As a result, I am unable to follow the 3-step instructions given in the left panel of the UI.
Click on a group to add.
When the folder opens:
1. Right click on the shortcut named as your new group
2. Click on "Pin to taskbar"
3. Enjoy your new Taskbar group
If you open the folder were the .EXE file is, you should see a shortcut folder, everything should be in there.
Hello, I am another user of TaskbarGroups, and I try and help with the mass of opened issues. When creating groups and shortcuts for myself, I never clicked on the area that you bordered in red. Try clicking on the "Edit Group" button, and use the "Edit Group" dialog box.
Or are you trying to do anything special?
Oh, perhaps you mean create a shortcut for the group, in the taskbar? Then, create a copy of the shortcut that opens the main dialog box, and modify the command line, to add the name of the group at the end of it (separated by a space, of course).
