With more than 6 in a group, nr. 6-to pre-last disappear from view in edit mode

When I have more than 6 shortcust in one group, in the list in edit mode only Nr. 1-5 and last show, those in between have vanished from sight in the list (not from the group) and so cannot be moved up and down to be put in the order they are wanted to be in the pop up in the taskbar. The right side scroll bar also is short. Is there any hidden function to expand the list in edit mode? Of course I can split one group into several of 6 each, but still, when they can be added, why can't they be edited?
