Slow to respond

Opening a group with just two icons takes over 2 seconds to open. Is that normal? What could be causing it to be so slow? It's not practical to use at this speed.

I have a good system with lots of RAM and a good SSD running Windows 10.

Maybe the open state of each group could be stored in RAM and kept hidden until you click on the icon?

Same issue. Clicking a group with just two icons takes over 2 seconds to open. Machine has plenty of resources and OS is clean.

Very slow and useless as a result. Kills the purpose of being a shortcut. Looks like abandoned for a while.
