Help, Taskbar Groups is useless anymore (Windows 11)

Open iamkid opened this issue 2 years ago • 7 comments

[Sorry for the Google Translate] Since I upgraded to Windows 11, Taskbar Groups is useless anymore. When I try to right-click to bring up the options and pin the icon, there is no way it will work. If I click "pin to taskbar", the program (Taskbar Groups) is pinned, not the icon (you can see it in the picture). When I try to pin it from the file explorer, just nothing happens. Someone else happens? Do you know how to fix it?

It is possible in Windows 11 using the context menu on the shortcut: image Then select: image

Screenshots are in Dutch. But first select Show more options then select Pin to taskbar

I'm having problems using the Task Bar Group. Does it really need to have an image for it to work? image

NO, Windows 11 simply isn't supported.

I was talking about the image, not the Operating System is supports. I guess I figured the problem out.

I fixed it by deleting the shortcut through Taskbar Group Folder > Shortcuts > Then deleting the shortcut creating the problem which the name of the shortcut is called “Work”.
