Add support for template text and stripping out comments

Description

I want to use this package in my project's command-line client yarnc for the yarnsocial/yarn project. Right now I don't see a way of providing:

• A template text to pre-populate the editor with
• A way to strip out any comments in the editor

Basically ala the way git commit works.
