Dynamic text shouldn't synch text width property.

Hi,

First of all, this is awesome plugin. I really like to use it. Thanks a ton to make it available.

I found this plugin is very helpful when I making style rules for website. For example, I can make a group called "heading: h1", "heading: h2", "paragraph: p" and such.

When the selected group text width/height is fairly small, it doesn't matter much. However, when I defined paragraph group with large dimension, it tries to copy the source dimension too. It makes unexpected results.

I was wondering if we can disable synching text width property.

Thank you.

Thanks for writing, @sunglee. Width and height will not be synced on dynamic text layers when they are marked as "flexible". If you've already given your text a width, it's considered fixed width and the plugin tries to respect that by syncing the dimensions. I'm sure there are cases where that causes unexpected behavior.

Since you seem to be bumping into this issue when trying to work with text styles, you'll probably be happy to know that Text Styles are a feature that's going to be in the soon to be released Sketch 3.

Thanks for the quick reply, @tisho. If the text is relatively short-length like button label, it can be flexible. However, when I design mockups for websites and apps, maybe 99% of the time I have to use fixed text width since I need to set width to make the text be in a container/grid.

Since as you mentioned Sketch 3 is coming, I would be happy to see that feature working for this case.

I really appreciate your reply and effort to make this great plugin. Thanks!
