Honestly speaking, I would highly appriciate if non-visible characters could be displayed as in codebrainz/mousepad or Winword, making visible at least whitespace, line break, new paragraph. Visual blocks does something in this direction, but visual characters could do it much better the other way around, with pilcrow et al.. The greyish blocks for &nbsp are not so helpful, in my opinion. Thank's, Steffen.
