[FEATURE] polling of db scan

Maybe I am missing something but there doesn't currently seem to be a way to periodically reload the db. I would like to scan for new keys and their contents with a set periodicity.

Yes, you can only manually re-scan the database. 😂 Maybe it's a good requirement, I will consider including it in the rewritten version.
