They way quantile should work is like this: An equal number if items should be assigned to each bucket. However, when I use the q in the PlugIn, not the same number of items are assigned to each class. Sometimes, there six or seven items per class while in others there are only two or three. But the classes should have the same size?!

Hi @Stophface, thanks for reporting this issue. Would you mind providing an example set of data? I'd like to test whether the problem lies with chroma.js or with this code
