Bug when pausing playback via Bluetooth headphone

Open BorisBrock opened this issue 4 years ago • 0 comments

Shuttle version:

v2.0.15

Device, OS:

OnePlus 5 with Android 10 Shuttle+ App Bowers and Wilkins PX7 Bluetooth headphone

Description of bug:

Under certain conditions the playback cannot be paused via the Bluetooth headphone.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Reboot phone
  2. Turn on bluetooth headphone -> Automatically pairs with smart phone
  3. Press play button on headphone -> Shuttle starts music playback
  4. Press pause button on headphone -> Nothing happens (music keeps playing)

Expected outcome:

I would expect the playback to pause when pressing the pause button on my headphones.

Observations/Actual Result:

  • When I take my headphones off (which triggers a wearing-sensor), the same behavior occurs (music is not paused in shuttle).
  • When I open up the Shuttle app manually after the bug occured, the bug goes away. I.e. the pause button on my headphone starts working as expected. When I then reboot my phone, the bug comes back.

Workaround: Open up shuttle app on the smart phone. After that the pause works as expected (until phone is rebooted).
