Have the same.

Reproducible on all items which are not indexed in Media Storage DB.

Encountered this after upgrade to Pro version, where these unindexed files became available under the Folders menu item.

Reproducible on 2.0.12 (upgraded) on android 10, this was present in previous versions too. Appears to be a duplicate of issue #371

What can we do to grab more detailed error messages?

Edit: I believe this is, as arbitrary-dev says, a Media Storage DB issue. I've given Shuttle storage permissions, and the app can navigate to and display the contents of folders outside of /Music, but not play them. Other players (e.g. phonograph) simply can't see raw storage (even when given permission).
