Unloading app causes "Play Next" queue entries to be deleted and current queue position to be displaced.
Shuttle version:
v2.0.7-beta11 (Upgraded)
Device, OS:
Blackberry Keyone, Android 8.1
Description of bug:
Unloading app causes "Play Next" queue entries to be deleted and current queue position to be displaced.
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable Battery Saver Mode for more consistent memory/app management.
- Shuffle all tracks.
- Search for a track.
- Select "Play next" from that track's context menu.
- Optionally wait until that track is done playing.
- Pause playback.
- Do something else on your phone until Shuttle's unloaded and the playback control notification disappears.
- Go back to Shuttle.
Expected outcome:
Play queue does not change. Current song and position do not change.
Observations/Actual Result:
Extra tracks added in play queue all disappear.
Currently playing song number does not change, so playback skips forwards a number of songs equal to the number of tracks that disappeared that were in a position before the currently playing track at the time of exiting Shuttle.
Thanks for the detailed report. I'll look into this.
@StkAnon I'm not able to reproduce this in v2.0.12-beta1. Can you see if the issue persists? Also, any steps to reproduce that don't involve waiting for the app to 'unload'? (Like, if you clear the app from recents, does the issue occur?)
