Copying doesn't copy images
When I am inserting random pictures of people into my design and I am performing some actions (like copying something with the layer in it), the layer is there, but the image that is clipping on this layer doesn't show up again, so I need to reselect every layer and do the same "Plugins > Content Generator > Persona > Photos > ..."
Please fix :)
@iDuuck Not sure I understand the issue, I have tried to copy layer and it works fine http://cl.ly/YNKb can you please write down precisely which steps you are taking?
- I created a UI design in Sketch with avatars using the
Content-generator-sketch-plugin - I wanted to create a styleguide using
sketch-measure - I copied the UI design (the whole Artboards) into a new Sketch file
- Avatars not showing up with a image (just blank layers)
@iDuuck Yep, I managed to recreate the bug. If you click on pictures before copying them it helps though. I think this is problem with Sketch though rather than plugin. I would try to figure this out ;)
Thanks! Although it's no problem to just click every layer and use your plug-in again, but I thought it would be important to share this issue here.
I had the same issue when my teammate used one of my .Sketch file on his own Sketch.
I found a (painful) work around:
- I zipped my plugin folder and passed it my colleague
- Sent the sketch file to a team mate
- He deleted his own plugin folder
- Replaced it by mine
- When he opened my sketch file, all the images were there.
At the moment I am very busy, I promise to take a look at it closer next month. And hopefully add new features
