Bootcamp missing from reset of windows 12
Hi Tim, My name is stephen kenny and I am writing to you from dublin, Ireland, Europea. I need your help. I have a mac mini 2018, intel chip. Using your software, and I have tried all versions, the BootCamp folder appears, but its empty. Am I doing something wrong or has apple stopped this approach. Could you please offer me some suggestions on your software if needed or some other program.
I reset my windows 12 and it got rid of boot camp and I have no way of getting out of it. Every time I turn on my mac mini it goes straight to windows 12. I am unable to recover on my mac. None of the keys will allow me into recovery. warm regards Stephen Thanking you for your time.
Windows 12 isnt out, What do you mean?
Hi Tim, I was in a rush, I meant windows 11. Could you please inform me why I am able to use your software and get the bootcamp folder downloaded but it's empty?
Also, using bootcamp, you couldn't tell me the best software to use to upgrade to 23H2? There are so many options. Many Thanks for your time. warm regards Stephen
Hey Stephen! A workaround may be to install the PKG file from the link in the brigadier console and download that, if I had not extra Mac, I would run VMWare with macOS, open the pkg file and mount it. The put those files on a usb, then you can run setup.exe and hopefully this will work.
OFFICIAL FIX: Try installing the 2022 version of 7-Zip. The 2023 version does not work. I installed the older version and it works.
