UI feedback when hovering or selecting a link

Browser: Firefox 46.0.1

Right now, hovering over any list item does nothing visually. The user only gets feedback when hovering over the exact text, during which the text is underlined.

Maybe on mouse hover (and click), change the background of the list item to a light gray. Then I know that entire list item block is an a element.

Thanks for your advice, but the feature you asked doesn't seem very necessary for me. I will keep this issue open to see if anyone else want it.
