What is your idea?

I use the app mainly for work. Since I have a number of customers, which have accounts at the same providers as M365 or Amazon, it would be great to set a tag per 2FA to have a better way for sorting than changing the name of the 2FA token, which results in losing the automatically assigned icon.

Thanks for suggesting this feature. Until this feature has been implemented, it may help you to search for the username (possibly the company's e-mail domain) or to modify the username. How would you like to use tags, findable via search or a separate button with a dropdown?

For most 2FA tokens, the username has some relation to the company indeed. However, there are others, where you have a username rather than an email address or even just a customer number, which gives no association at all. Modifying the username would be an option, but I like to keep things in order. For filtering and organization, I would like to have a multi-selection dropdown with a fuzzy finder search over the tags. Getting tags as a search result for the global search is also a good idea.
