Formatting on Save hangs indefinitely

What is happening is when you save a file and the formatter runs it just hangs indefinitely. If I hit cancel the file will format properly and finish saving.

I've also created an issue in the vs code repo but the solution is to disable the extension...

Anyone experience the same problem?

I have the same problem, it is really annoying. ElixirLS server is sloooow, but it works. This extension is fast, but formatting does not work!
