Emails / Reporting - Requirements Gathering

Prebvoiusly we added reporting but when shown to users it wasn't used as quickly s we hoped. I want to gather requirements from more users before trying to solve.

I think theres’s probably 2 use cases for me:

  1. Scheduled email report of a snapshot of one of the dashboard panes at a given time OR interval (ie – every 1hour, or at market close) PDF or screen or text is good Audience is more PM/trader

  2. Trigger email based on a condition – sort of like conditional formatting, except if some threshold is met I’d want to send a report Introduces some complexity around throttling / sample rate I suppose Something as basic as “only fire once per minute / 5 minute” would be sufficient Audience is more technical (ie – some process state is NOTOK / some position recon issue to investigate)
