Feature Request: Override Aprover

Most departments have leaders who need to have their vacations approved by a Director or another person outside the Department. An easy way to implement this without complex hierarchy is to be able to define an aprover on the user page.

Is there anyone who would like to collaborate in this feature dev? I do not have big experience in NodeJS, but would like to have this feature. It is quite important for our case.

OR is there any workaround how to solve the department manager to have an approver from an upper management who is not a part of the given department?
