Export Outlook calendar info to Time.Off calendar?

Hi!

It looks like you can export your time.off calendar information to an Outlook calendar, but I'm looking to do the opposite - pull existing information (mainly availability) from an employee's Outlook calendar and have it displayed (somewhat) in the time.off calendar. Is this possible?

This is exacly what I, too, am looking for: something that will automatically read "vacation" events in our company calendars and make team overviews out of it.

There is an Office REST API that will allow you to read calendar information, so it should be possible to do that bit.

I'm sure there could be complications on the timeoff-side with integrating into approval flows, existing bookings, et cetera.

Oh good point! I think the Office REST API would be a great addition to get the two-way flow of information. I had the same thought regarding existing bookings. I was thinking of maybe incorporating a second "Alert" API, if I can find a viable option.

It is definitely worth considering adding this feature.

Maybe not as part of cloud solution but the one available for those hosting internally.

I will have a though how to incorporate it, ideally as plugin thing.

Hey @vpp maybe it would be better to provide an API for TimeOff so other people can work on other integration implementations like this (i.e: syncing other calendars rather than outlook/exchange).

There's another issue about this topic :)
