Escaping breaks the custom interface elements.

1. Go to Settings and click the Add button to add a new account.
2. When adding an account, click the emoji button, then hit escape to close that menu.
3. Now try to click on Add or the x button or anything and notice you can’t.
4. Hit escape to close the Settings
5. Notice, you can’t click on other accounts to change inboxes. You can still interact with Gmail though on your current inbox.

Meru Version: 3.20.0 Intel Mac MacOS 15.7.2 (24G325)

This is a low priority bug as it's an edge case.
