Homebridge Doesn't See Panel after file update
@daymondm I ran into an issue when I updated the files that @timcharper merged with 0.0.4. I am now unable to see the Panel. I see my three sensors, but no Panel. I deleted the cachedAccessories file and recreated it with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
strange; anything in the log file that might indicate an issue? maybe "do not know how to handle device ... " message that is the panel?
@daymondm the logs do not show the “Panel” as an accessory. It only shows my three door sensors.
I’m not sure how the merge works in github but the version number hasn’t changed, I haven’t checked the rest of the files but seems that there are some extra step in order to update the github plugin to be able to pull down the newer version

@timcharper Do you think you can push a new update 0.0.5 with the changes to see if that helps?
Running into the same issue as well. Doesn't seem to find the panel anymore. Not seeing anything in the logs either. @daymondm @jlhunter2008
Also, is there anything we need to do to make the garage opener work? Seems to detect it and I have changed the type to Garage Door Opener, but it still think it is a contact sensor.
Anything I can do to help here? A bit stuck at trying to debug the issue. Do we need to update the npm package since the last update was 4 months ago?
Just got this "working" this afternoon after a few hours of dealing with install issues last night... Come to find out, my panel is not recognized either. I installed from npm, but only realized this existed today. I'm working with a headless Raspberry Pi Zero, so an npm update would be most helpful to me if that's what's causing the issue. @timcharper any thoughts?
Updated to the latest version and my panel is now missing as well. Everything else seems to be just fine.
@timcharper how difficult is it to update the version so the panel will appear again? It's been over 2 months since my original post. Any update to this would be appreciated by alot of your users.
do a git pull on my fork and see if it comes back. I'm not sure what the issue is with the version numbers.. maybe a problem with npm? I'm not an expert on either but im running my fork now and all seems well

Also, what do you say to Siri to trigger the alarm to stay? Everything I try either doesn’t trigger it or it arms it to Away. Any help would be appreciated.

@rob74lee did you restart homebridge after updating the files? Also, make sure you replace all files in the root folder and the ones inside each individual folder.
Yeah. No luck. Even formatted my pi and started fresh

@daymondm Seems to work for me using your fork. Might need to do something with the current files for this repo, but not sure how to fix that.
@rob74lee How did you load the files / config?
@brianpham I literally just started from scratch and pulled a git clone from @daymondm. Installed fine but doesn't register with home bridge.
Not sure how else to debug since its working for me. Hoping that @timcharper can help ):
I don't even run 0.0.4. I just added Travis CI support so that I can push PRs to add unit tests and not break existing unit tests. Someone else is going to have to debug this
@timcharper I think this is the issue that will fix the problem. I don’t believe you merged the files correctly with the Pull request that added support for the Panel. Can you try it again? Thanks.

@daymondm any way to get this done on your end since you appear to be the only one responding to issues? Your pull request works with the panel, but the current 0.0.4 live version does not.
