Doh.... i forget about these windows users.... Since bash is available, could modify it so instead of symlink, create wrapper script which execs the target script. What do you think?
Yeah... Doesn't git for windows ship with a bash interpreter?
You just need to provide credentials is all!
Check your logs, maybe there's an auth error
