macOS builds are requiring stdc++

stdc++ has been removed from macOS since a few years now and that prevents the project from compiling under macOS.

The github workflow runner for macos-12 seems to have both libstdc++ and libc++. The tests now use libc++ in commit 9cad040b60ef52e7f6116974c67bae32adc8b333.
