Rendering of codeblocks breaks highlighting on Firefox

Trying to Copy&Paste the codeblock-example from https://wiki.tilde.institute/w/firefox-address-bar-tips is quite tedious, because selecting the text does not display the typical outline one gets from selecting text by clicking and dragging on any other text on the page (or the web).
