Automatically add new task entry when 'enter' is pressed

For example you are writing a long todo list from mental notes

Automatically it should at - (i.e. new task entry start) at beginning appropriate level.

Thanks for filing and for commenting!

And, apologies for being such an absent maintainer.

About the feature request: Seems like this would make it more difficult to add notes under a task.

Currently, if I add a task title and then hit enter I can hit tab and start typing a note.

This feature would change it so if I add a task title and hit enter, I then have to hit backspace twice (assuming a tab is added after the -) and then tab before i can start typing a note.

Maybe this can happen on Shift + Enter?
