it isnt on the roadmap for the near future, it could still take a couple months.
you can enable direct subfolder grouping in Menu -> Change view type, in the pro version. That should help a bit
the current solution says "Group DIRECT subfolders", so thats the way it is currently supposed to work. Subfolder_1 and Subfolder_3.1 are not direct subfolders.
I just checked it, it should be supported already. What happens at those files, you just see empty thumbnails and fullscreen view? What app and OS version are you using?
do other gallery apps show them?
do other galleries play them?
