Performance seems worse than demo when running the code for cuda8.0 locally.

To make it compatible to my os(Ubuntu 16.04), I use the code https://github.com/AKSHAYUBHAT/CTPN8, which makes a little bit adjustment for cuda8.0, yet turns out I get the following results 2018-02-11 10-44-04

Should I just change my os and use the original code?
