[FEATURE] Italian translations
Italian translations tracking
We can use this Issue to track the progress of the Italian language translations. 🇮🇹
Please post here what page you plan on translating so we can coordinate. 🚀
Tips
- Just like we're doing with the Spanish translations, let's use "tu" instead of the more formal "lei" or "voi".
- If the term is a technical term, leave in English and add an explanation of the meaning of the word in Italian.
For Portuguese there's a telegram channel, idk if you guys want to setup that as well... Is jfyk :)
Cool, thanks for letting me know @Kludex. I've created a telegram group for the Italian translations https://t.me/fastapiita :)

@csr I'd like to contribute to the Italian translation. How can I proceed?
@csr Pick a page, inform here that you're going to work on it and you can contribute :tada:
@benzgrant Ciao! I suggest you first start taking a look at the translation guide in the docs, join the Italian Telegram group if you need help (link above), and review the pull requests that are waiting for review.
Hello @csr, I'd like to contribute to IT docs as well. Found in docs: "Check in the issues to see if there's one coordinating translations for your language." I suppose you are the IT coordinator right? Where should I start? (Actually cheched the IT docs and /master/docs/it/docs/index.md is still in EN. Should I start from there?)
Hi all, I'm no longer actively contributing to the project, and quite admittely I'm a pretty bad translator 😄 These open pull requests were work I carried out during an open source fellowship. Feel free to create new ones based off my work so I can close the open ones. Thank you!
Ok. But PR already revised shouldn't be merged and then we go on from there? Or would be better to restart from scratch?
Hello @csr I would be glad to help with the translations effort. Since you said you are no longer actively contributing to the project, would you still like to have your pull requests reviewed, or would you prefer new ones to be opened based of your work? Thanks a lot
Feel free to open new ones based on my work. thank you so much :)
Sorry but I can't figure out who is coordinating this translation.
Hey @bsab, feel free to continue the translation efforts and coordinate the translation. Thank you for all the good suggestions. You can open new pull requests with my work and your changes.
Hello @csr, thank you very much for all the work done, I try to manage the Italian translation.
Good news everyone! 😉 There's a new translation PR to be reviewed: #4500 🎉

Hi! Who is the coordinator of the Italian language? I would like to help with the translation 😉
Welcome @baleDevIt :) it seems like there isn't one, as we are just few people I think anyone can see others translations and if he likes can assign himself a page to translate. The problem is that as we are few people (often inactive on this project because of other engagements) there are really few reviewers and I feel like there isn't an Italian community on the project
Thanks @matteospanio! I am sorry that there is not an active community on this issue. I choose a page and get to work 😉
