K9 crashes when VPN (Planet VPN or AdAway) is on

Steps to reproduce

1. Start Planet VPN or AdAway (with RPV activated)
2. Start K9 mail Android signals that App Crashes and proposes to restart it. It crashes until VPN is deactivated.

Expected behavior

App should work, even if it is just for displaying that connection does not work. But crashing at any attempt to start is very bad.

App crashes everytime it is opened

Same here, samsung A54, android 14, after last update app crashes when wireguard/back-to-home is on and I want to enter addres in new/reply to mail.

@korzystka: Sound more like issue #7622 than a problem with your VPN.

@cketti well yes, but when I turn off VPN the problem does not occur. Also when I disable encryption integration, so there is a two way solution.
