New folder tree does not show pinned folders

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to "manage folders"
  2. Choose a folder
  3. Enable "show in top group" and "show folder"
  4. Go back to inbox
  5. Expand side panel to see folders
  6. Notice lack of just pinned one

Expected behavior

Panel with folders show pinned folders (like it was in 11.0 and earlier)

Actual behavior

I selected folder, enabled options: Image

Folder does not show: Image

Just adding to this, it looks like "show in top group" now pins folders to the top of their subfolder group (notice in the above screenshot ML is above the Archive folder, and if ML/infradead-org is expanded, linux-rockchip might be at the top of the list of items within infradead-org.

It looks like Thunderbird for Android may have started doing this in version 11.0b1 with Gmail accounts. Version 13.0 seems to have changed it for IMAP accounts as well.

Yeah, it does that. But that's require more clicking than before.

With tens of mail folders it kind of force to remember which ones were enabled to be on top. Instead of having them on top.

Thanks for reporting this issue. The top folders are ignored in the current drawer, we need to change the sort order to respect the top group flag.
