Steps to reproduce
Send an email with an attachment, note that it reports not sending. Check the email you sent it to - note that it DID send. Go back to thunderbird, see that the email is still in the outbox and that you have a notification locally of the failure.
This reproduces on my Fastmail account nearly 100%
Expected behavior
Emails that sent should not be reporting that they didn't send. Emails with attachments should send properly.
Actual behavior
Emails with attachments report failing to send, but in fact do send.

I just discovered this as well. Not sure which version I was on on Tuesday when it happened but I have it set up to auto-update through Obtainium and it says it updated to 14.0 this morning.
Dunno if this information helps, but I may have sent the message in question by opening an image in my gallery app and using the share sheet to send it to Thunderbird. But I’m not totally sure!
Oh! And unlike the incident described above, I never got a notification about any failure. I noticed because I was searching for the message in my sent folder after the recipient replied to me. I haven’t investigated whether or not this is due to my notification settings.
