Please add the ability to search comments within a post
It would be really useful for posts woth lots of comments where it would be hard to find specific comments

Hey @x4740N, you should be able to access additional comment actions by long-pressing the reply button in the comment navigation FAB. From there, you can press Search.
You can also make the search button the main default button, or the long-press action, if you want.

Sure. I suggested a serach box, because the current search button is kinda hard to find. And btw the FAB seems to be broken since one of the more recent nightly builds of 0.5.0? The search button doesn't appear when I click on a post from the feed:
It does work though when I click on a comment from my inbox and view the post that way:

It always worked and I never changed anything to the FAB settings. I'm on v0.5.0.
@codenyte I think you may have experimental features enabled. One of the experimental features we have right now is a new post page. Since it was re-written, it's not yet at feature parity with the old page. You can see everything it's missing in #1413, and you can see one of the things not fully implemented yet is the FAB.
Thanks. This fixed it. Is there any reason why the re-written post page is used when tapping on a post directly from the feed, but not when tapping on a comment from the inbox and viewing a post that way?

Just another thing that's not completely implemented yet. From #1413: "Jumping to comment context (e.g., from notifications) shows the old page".
You're welcome to leave the new post page on and help us test it out, but just keep in mind all of the unfinished work mentioned in that issue. If you find a problem not mentioned in that issue yet, feel free to let us know!

That's actually why I enabled experimental features in the first place. I just didn't realize that the missing FAB action was related to that, so I thought it was a bug.

The reply button is not avalible on posts in the FAB unless I click on a comment from my notifications
