Package and run CC.rb as a gem

You should be able to install CC.rb in gem form via Rubygems. Such a gem should expose the cruise executable as an entry point into the app, and should be daemonizable on that basis as well. It should work on Windows, Linux, and Mac.

A first pass at this has been added in c598ddd78e8e0a916eadeb65505e4e9d6a547137. It requires more testing before we can close this issue.
