Pop_OS systemd.boot does not recognize raid disks

Open refelian opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Had it working under mint20 where grub recognized the windows boot manager. However with Pop_OS it doesnt work, probably due to them using systemd.boot. Any idea how to get that working?

Setup: I have two sata ssd's with windows (using AMDRAID) and one nvme with linux using AHCI.

Same issue here. Two SATA HDD configured with AMDRAID, 1 nvme with Windows and 1 nvme with Linux. With Elementary OS successfully configured, with Pop_OS I don't know how to make it work.

Ubuntu is using systemd as init-service, too. Or what do you mean by "systemd.boot"? Normally, once the kernel driver is loaded, your setup should behave like a regular one (e.g. with AHCI). I'm not supporting any of the other distros than Debian or Ubuntu, therefore marking this one as invalid here.

Hi all! I managed to solve this problem by installing GRUB on Pop OS. Use the following walkthrough: https://lucioeiras.medium.com/o-guia-completo-para-fazer-dual-boot-entre-pop-os-e-windows-3e08fe0bd3ec
