Strange screen color changes

After adding this app every now and then I get a weird color hue change, almost as if it automatically re-enabled true tone. The screen goes through this blue and yellow light gradient in a matter of a few seconds. Then returns back to normal.

I think I've seen this. Seems more likely than not that it's a macOS issue (though it could be exacerbated by Shifty doing something weird).

What version of macOS are you experiencing this on?

For sure latest Big Sur, not sure about Monterey yet because the bug occurs somewhat randomly (plus I recently disabled Shifty because the color change ticked me off 😅)

What MacBook do you have? I used to have this issue on a 2017 MacBook Pro, it wasn't Shifty doing it though. I would happen randomly since I purchased the computer.
