@mvorisek I'm going to close out due to age, but if this is still an issue for you, please re-open.

Based on [these commits](https://app.codecov.io/gh/lightningdevkit/rust-lightning/commits) I'm going to guess this is no longer an issue @TheBlueMatt

The uploader now runs `coverage xml` by default if `coverage` is installed (a dep of `pytest-cov`)

I'm going to close this out as the answer is to run `coverage xml`

@ethanhanjiahao does your remote repo also have the Codecov yaml file?
