Card not visable on 'Sections' style dashboard in edit mode

When in a dashboard that's created in sections style (the "new" layout option) and the condition to show the card is false, the card is not visable in edit mode. Even when i make it a conditional card with a input_boolean helper to trigger it true, it's not showing on the dashboard, only in raw config of the dashboard. Also when the condition is true the card is not always showing on the dashboard.
