color-picker takes 1.2s to activate

I'm just opening this issue to bring to your attention that timecop has consistently told me that color-picker takes 57ms to load, and 1286ms to activate. It's slowing down the startup of atom quite considerably for me.

Perhaps there are some optimisations that can be made somewhere?
