Assigning Shortcuts to Reserved Keys

Open David0tt opened this issue 1 month ago • 1 comments

Thank you for this amazing Add-In!

Is there any way to assign shortcuts to reserved keys? For example, i would like to assign shortcuts to orient the view like in Blender, using the numpad. For this i would assign e.g.

Numpad1 -> View Front

however, when i try to assign this i get "Reserved - Sorry, this key is reserved by Fusion and cannot be used as a command shortcut." Is there any way to circumvent this?

Best David

Hi, Anyshortcut does not support overriding reserved keys.

If you are on Windows, you can try Axalea Toolbar & Shortcuts Editor and "Forced shortcuts". It's a paid add-in that I have created ($14). Forced shortcuts can be used in the trial mode, but will not be saved upon exit.

edit: T&S does some quite more complex things to be able to have the forced shortcuts.
