Jitters while sliding

Some of your text output elements should have a fixed width so that when you slide through different length values the layout of the elements doesn't jitter around.

Thanks for letting me know, I hadn't noticed on my computer.

This raises a more general issue: I will have to check that the page displays correctly across operating systems/web browsers/screen resolutions.
