So, maybe it would be helpful if someone else would help with issues and pull requests (to start with, at any rate)... Might provide a bit more timely changes on and off.

After what I said in https://github.com/tholo/pytest-flake8/issues/36#issuecomment-338818717 it's just natural that I offer my help. I'll try to work on a solution to https://github.com/tholo/pytest-flake8/issues/26 for starters.

@tholo Sorry for my noob question, but what is the purpose of the package? I can run in a terminal locally or at a cloud's CI/CD the following two commands:

>  flake8
>  pytest tests/

So why waste time on a new package development instead of just running two simple commands?

@tholo I'm happy to help maintain this package. Feel free to add me as a backup maintainer/owner (mainly here and PyPI). I'd prefer owner access in order to ensure continuity if you were to disappear unexpectedly. I'll be considerate and defer any controversial changes to your review first.
