Static image snapshot & UNIX socket (or sink) feaute

Hello,

Once again I updated and reviewed your very useful software! I almost gave up and into buying the NVR for these, as I bought more D800 cameras, but I want to give Neolink and Shinobi another chance (much greater benefits and savings on versus the Reolink NVR).

  1. Fetaure request, is it possible to have a feature to take a "snaphot" of the stream, and either dump it on the filesystem regularly or on demand, or have it available with a web url, eg. http://neolink.host/my-camera-1/snap.jpg ?

  2. Feature request, for those running Shinobi or Motioneye on the same host as Neolink, and to clear the overhead and the network layer in-between, instead of also making the stream from the cameras available on RTSP, is it possible to dump it as a UNIX socket or sink (not as an MPEG file as a recording for example, more like a device description under /dev/videoX or /var/run/video.socket). This way, any other app can open this sink as a device or "raw" (actually H.265) stream for example.

Thank You!

So both of these are certainly possible, but there probably not much drive for any of the developers to add it in. If you up for making a PR I could answer any questions you have to get the ball rolling.

I would also love a simple snapshot feature. My use case would be a cronjob to create time-lapses or a static website.
