Missing recommended system configuration

Tried running this repo on a brand new mac after installing Xcode and typical initial setup however, I get nowhere.

One issue after another.

First it was the target version of 8.0 in the Podfiles. Then it was the openSSL header issue.

Ideally the readme can have some instructions on what versions of packages are needed on a system level to make this work.

Ruby version node version IOS simulator version

Etc.
