Updates for the Patient Standing Report

Suggestions

• Should this report support a date range for listing services and stock movements? It is more useful to show recent activity than activity several years ago. Of course it makes sense to list the current debt regardless of how old it is, so the date range would be limited to the display of activities. If this is done, some annotations in the report will need to make it clear why there are totals for activities that are not shown.
• Add support for multiple currencies
• Does the Total Billed/paid/etc under the Services include the bills for stock exits to the patient? That was not clear to me from this report.
• Add link to this report in the action menu for each patient in the Patient Registry
• Should there be a way to limit the patients who can be selected via the drop-down menu to those who have outstanding debts?

This looks like some good suggestions. Some questions/comments:

Add support for multiple currencies

I presume the multiple currencies would only be tied to the totals, right?

The total/billed/paid refers to the finances - so if the hospital billed for drugs, it will show up. If the drugs were given freely, then they will only be in the medicine distributed.

This is interesting - I am not sure this would be more useful than confusing (people might think the app is broken), but it is interesting to have a "has outstanding debts" indicator somewhere. I know Vanga prints this out showing no outstanding debts when they issue a discharge form. It might be that we have a green check mark or something by the patient's name to show that they have a zero balance.

?? It should apply to all currencies that appear in the report (amounts, balances, totals, etc)

Actually, this seems to be a report/document that contains only the financial part of the patient standing report. The Patient Standing Report also reports stock movements distributed to the patient. So it could replace the current "Voir la situation financière" report/document. Please checkout these for Vanga Patient PA.HEV.52821.
