Fails when set to DVD

Open gideion opened this issue 8 months ago • 1 comments

I am getting returned a failure every time I attempt to convert .7z files to chd for use in PPSSPP using the -m dvd flag.

I have tried the following commands:

$ tochd -p -m dvd -- . $ tochd -m dvd -- . $ tochd -m dvd .

However it works as expected when running:

$ tochd .

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

P.s. I am looking forward to the release of the appimage version.

i found your comment because i was having the same issue. turns out my mame-tools (using Ubuntu 22.04) was using an out of date version of chdman that did not include the dvd option.

i went to the mame developer website:

https://www.mamedev.org/

and followed the instructions for my installation. i ended up adding the following repository:

https://sdlmame.wallyweek.org/repository/

and was able to update my chdman from 0.242 to 0.281. the -m dvd flag now works with my tochd install.

note if you are attempting to make chd files for PPSSPP, you should read the following thread:

https://github.com/thingsiplay/tochd/issues/10
