Photoshow slow and debug mode

Hi all,

Thibaud, thank you for your work; Photoshow is really what I was looking for: simple, pretty, efficient.

I've only one issue with it: slowness.

My images repository includes:

• Users 1
• Groups 3
• Items 29478
• Generated items 30144
• Albums 689

And to load the first page, it takes several minutes on my server (RAM, 4GB, Atom(TM) CPU D425 @ 1.80GHz, Debian). CPU load is very high for one Apache process (LAMP stack) during loading.

Is there something I missed during installation ? Is there any setting to enable debug mode to see what is happening ?

Same here, I'm on a non-private Dreamhost server. Could I make the site pre-load server-side somehow?
