P2P card setting is broken

MC 1.12.2 AL Rv5B9 Forge 2515

When shift-right clicking on a p2p tunnel the p2p card clears its settings, it seems it's not longer possible to set p2p cards as of right now. http://prntscr.com/h0l9x2

Try it without something in your off hand. There could be something wonky there

Without the key it does seem to work fine, didn't even think about that. I just tried multiple items from different mods, they all seem to have the same effect when they are in the offhand when trying to use the card.
